Turns out a husband-wife research team at Purdue (one of my many alma maters!) has found the biological clock. Turns out it is a single protein.
Wonder if I could turn mine off?

Wild, prolong it at least, we'll all live to 100. Whenever I say that people always say “why'd I want to live to 100” but you would if everyone else was doing it :))

It's fairly sickening. While I was an undergrad, I made a ton of money editing papers for others. I wish I'd kept copies. This was one of the top schools in the nation, and a lot of these girls couldn't write to save their lives. Now, in law school, I'm helping to organize a program to teach legal secretaries basic grammar and punctuation. I'd have thought that secretaries, of all people would have a grasp on these things already. How has it come to this?
