This URL gives a history of my family back to 1750 or thereabouts. Supposedly my Aunt Ruth has gone farther back.

I heard we were Black Dutch, meaning English who fled to Holland to avoid persecution and then fled Holland to avoid losing Eng. culture.

I’ve been told we go back to 1500, maybe earlier, with things we’re sure are true. Interesting.
