I do not understand why there is such a loud upswing in Democrats in the Senate telling the President who he should nominate. They lost.

I don’t want a moderate who is an activist judge and, while labeled conservative, votes with the left on many issues.

I want a strict Constitutionalist.

Bush was elected by the conservatives. He ought to put conservatives into the Supreme Court. It’s supposed to be a check and balance issue, not the whole shebang. And as long as there are activist judges, it’s not check and balance but “Off with her head!”

Bush has left me behind in some of his choices, such as illegal immigration. I hope he doesn’t disappoint on this issue.
