Nature news has been discussing the lost Ivory Billed Woodpecker, extinct for the last 50 years. Turns out at least two of them still exist in Arkansas. Yahoo!

I’m not a big bird watcher, but I’m always for things being alive rather than dead. Especially alive rather than extinct.

I’ve been reading rumors are up, again, that the Tasmanian devil has been sighted in Australia. I’m hoping that one turns out like this.
