Though we homeschool, my oldest has outstripped my knowledge in math and science. So we send him somewhere else for a few hours three days a week to learn from other homeschooling moms. His chemistry teacher is a chemist. His Algebra II teacher is a mathematics teacher who is working on her MS and looking forward to doing a PhD.

Friday I told him to have his homework done for those two classes when I arrived home from the parent-teacher conferences. He said he did. But he didn’t.

Now he is staying up late to work on his math and probably his science.

Tomorrow he will have no electronics.
