was the Word. And the Word was with God. And the Word was God. In Him all things were made. Without him, nothing that has been made was made. … And the Word came and lived among us for a while.

And my life, at least, was changed.

But on a national scale millions of lives were changed. And on a global scale billions of lives were changed.

Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called sons of God.
