In Ohio. The town council is stealing the land a man acquired to build townhomes on so that they could… build townhomes on it.
In Florida. Stealing homes from 6,000 poor black residents so they can build a yacht club and the like.
California had a great law, but they didn’t vote on it. It’s tabled for now. It would have even been better than Texas’. (I had to look that up to be sure. When I read it, I couldn’t believe it could be true. CA have something better than my native TX? But they did.)
