Yesterday evening, on a date with my husband to a fancy French restaurant, I went off my diet temporarily. I ate a total of 1500 calories last night. Which brough the day’s total to 2300. Now it takes 3500 calories to gain a pound. And I didn’t eat 8/10s of 3500 calories yesterday. And I ran and worked yesterday. So why does my scale today say I gained .8 pounds?
It’s got to be the salt and water retention.
