I started reading Screenplay by Disney, written by Jason Surrell, during Thanksgiving. Then I left the book at my folks and by the time I got it back, I wasn’t interested in finishing it.
Today, though, I was doing lots of waiting. So I took books with me. I finished it.
It was very interesting, though dry at times. I do, finally, understand the concept of “show, don’t tell.”
The girls in my novel don’t say Jem’s a bully. You see him tripping one and dropping spiders on them. That’s what it means. (Eureka!)
