A good friend who is 93 fell at church on Sunday, broke her shoulder and her back, and is now throwing up and unable to keep food down. She is getting weaker. She was at my folks’ house visiting and my mom is falling apart. She’s been our friend for 27 years. Her name is Martha. My boys and I call her Oma.

Update: She was finally able to keep her medicine down. She is eating again, is feeling better, and is able to get her pain medicine.
