My students, who live in poverty, are all for free immigration to the US, healthcare for all, and subsidized college. (They don’t understand they are already subsidized in college.)

They say “free healthcare” and “free college tuition.”

They don’t mean free. They mean “paid for by someone else.”

And who is that someone else? Me. You. Them.
