As those who come here often know, I am doing Body for Life for the fourth time. It's a 12-week challenge. I am ending week 5 today.
I got on the scale and hadn't lost any weight or any body fat. That was very discouraging. But when I measured, I had lost an inch. So I'm guessing I had water retention or something.
If I had only used the body fat scale, I would be very frustrated right now. As it is, I am only a little frustrated.
It would be great to just drop pounds like a stack of too heavy books, but it doesn't work that way.
I am averaging about a pound a week, but that's because I lost a lot the first. Since then I've been losing about ten pounds a challenge.
But I'm going in the right direction, which is what's important.
