This article from Chrenkoff is on the EU response to Bush being elected again. I think it is spot on in saying that the European people thought Bush was an aberration and if they could just stall, he would go away. I say, hah! Not likely. (Thank God.)
Captain Ed in a post today talks about Europe’s reaction to her own prescribed Lisbon Strategy, which was supposed to make her economically as strong as or superior to the US within 10 years. It’s not going anywhere, btw, and this article discusses why.
