Today I received one of the birthday cards my Heroes and Villains class sent overseas. He’s not dead. He has moved. But his address ought to have worked. His command said not to list him as any soldier anymore when I went to the website to see if there was something there. That’s fine. But this was a bday card and was not addressed to any soldier.

So one long note from me and a birthday card has bounced saying “address not known.”

Most of the cards didn’t have return addresses on them, so I guess they are all lost. Oh well. We tried.
