South Beach: Day 4

Losing weight is a goal for me right now. It’s been three days on South Beach and I’ve lost 4 pounds.

By the beginning of day 3 Ron had lost five, but his weight went up a bit this morning. Was it the wings? Was it the bleu cheese? I don’t know. I’m sure it was just water weight and will go back down tomorrow. If he keeps drinking.

R and I were saying last night that we weren’t sure we wanted to continue on phase 1. Supposedly you won’t be hungry, but we have been.

R’s not that big a salad eater, neither am I, and that’s one of the ways to fill up. But when I had beans I wasn’t hungry. R says it is because they are carbs. Maybe so, but they’re high fiber carbs.
