I just read Bogus Gold’s post about the princess’ birthday and thought I should mention that E’s birthday is today. He turned 14. (Scary thought, that.) We had the kid party on Friday and the family party is tonight at Chuy’s, which is his favorite restaurant.

He hadn’t done the dishes yesterday, even though I told him and he knew it was his job. Today we made him do it and, Surprise!, his birthday present was in there.
