There are two very different stories circulating on the net about EMS workers who were trapped in NO during Katrina.
One is incredibly negative, with every police officer violent and threatening, taking their food and water. The police chased them away. No one would help them. They were threatened with guns.
Another story is much more positive. Bad things happened, but the police helped.
Are they the same story told from two completely different viewpoints? I don’t see how they can be. They don’t match. Are they stories that are the opposites because the people ran into different situations. Possibly. But it seems incredible. How could EVERY police officer they met be the bad guys? What LA NG would be complaining that “too many” of them are in Iraq?
