Running: Week 5, Day 2

I didn’t follow the plan exactly.

Plan says:
5 min jog
3 min walk
5 min jog
3 min walk
5 min jog

I did:
5 min jog
2 min walk
5 min jog
2 min walk
5 min jog
2 min walk
5 min jog
walked home

I am not that tired, although I can feel something in my legs. Not pain, not cramps. Just feels like light electrical currents in my right leg and foot. My left knee is a little sore. But it was a fun run.

About weight. On 1/16 I was down to 172. For the last three days I’ve been over that. I don’t know why. I haven’t eaten more calories. I did eat three starches on one of those days. I guess if calories consumed doesn’t really equal calories burned that might do it. Or starch might cause more water retention and I need to drink more water. The last two days I have been trying to drink more water and my water levels are better. They’re not good yet, but they’re better.

So, running week 5 day 2 was pretty good overall. Now I’m going to go eat breakfast. Let’s see… Beans?
