The Last Day

I was thinking that if you knew, for a fact, that a certain day were the last day of your life, you would act differently than if you didn’t, or if you had a year.

Would you snuggle next to your husband or do the laundry? Snuggle gets my vote, if today is it. But if I’m going to be around for a while, I might decide I can snuggle later, but I’ve put off the laundry long enough.

Anyway, I was thinking about it. And it’s not just because of my surgery. I also have a girlfriend who isn’t expecting to live out the year.

It makes you think, mortality does.
