A good thing

about a hysterectomy is that, in addition to not having 20 day periods each month, I no longer have to worry about getting pregnant.

My mother got pregnant on the pill.

My mother got pregnant with a tubal.

But not even my mother got pregnant with a hysterectomy.

It’s finally all over, folks. (The worrying and wondering, I mean.)

And unlike some women who feel that having a hysterectomy makes them less feminine, and some doctors who won’t do the procedure for as near as I can tell that reason, I say, “Thank you, Jesus.”
