Apparently Mel Gibson got drunk and went driving. (Bad news! Danger!) Then he was speeding, almost double the posted limit. Then he was asked to get in the patrol car and ran away. (All that is documented by videotape.)

Then according to the officer in charge, but not the videotape because it was turned off (I guess because the guy was now in the car?), MG started cursing, threatening him, and blaming the Jews for all the world’s problems.

First, I blame Mel Gibson for getting drunk and not staying home at that point.

Second, I really blame him for driving drunk.

Third, he shouldn’t have run from the police officer. (Bad plan.)

And, if he did curse Jews and the police officer, he was clearly in the wrong.
