has been enjoined. We Christians have felt the tide turning against us and have seen evidences of our belief taken captive and destroyed. (Ten commandments anyone? Nativity scenes?)

But now the battle has been described by someone who is not a Christian. He places himself in the category of uncaring agnostic.

“The New Atheists will not let us off the hook simply because we are not doctrinaire believers. They condemn not just belief in God but respect for belief in God. Religion is not only wrong; it’s evil. Now that the battle has been joined, there’s no excuse for shirking.”

Did you catch that? Let me make it clearer…

“They condemn… respect for belief in God. Religion is not only wrong; it’s evil.”

And thus it is that we are in a battle for our faith. For our children. For, I believe, our civilization.
