I thought M’s final was a regular in class test and I went to school on what I thought was the last day. There wasn’t a test that day.

But it turns out that, despite what I thought, the fall course doesn’t end until the college does. So his final was during finals week at the college.

I didn’t take him to school for that because I didn’t know he had school. He didn’t mention it, though I would have expected him to. (Note: He said he told me he had school. I said he didn’t. That is true. I remember that. But if he had said, “I have a final today” I would have at least looked it up.) Regardless him missing his final is totally my fault.

Dang. I thought I was more together than that.
